First off this isn't BA specific but more of checking my options on some flights and I prefer BA.... believe it or not!

A couple of trips ago I bought a VPN service so I could watch UK TV when away and be more secure on these free WiFi spots when away too... I've been quite happy with it and would recommend it.

Other than the above, I do wonder is there an upside to booking fares with BA in the guise of being somewhere else. When I've tried the prices are exactly the same no matter where I say I am... I have tried clearing cache/history etc. Does anyone here use this 'advantage' of having a VPN and saving a penny or two and can advise anything I may need to do?

I hope this type of thread is OK, if not please delete... I'm just a cheapskate at heart
