I wonder how many locals who chose OZ would be willing to pick a foreign carrier (at least for international travels) if KE becomes their only option. I suspect those that chose OZ because of its friendlier FFP would be willing to abandon KE, especially if KE decides to downgrade everyone to essentially no status.

Locals already take a lot of LCCs when traveling around Asia, but they definitely have a preference for KE and OZ on long haul flights.
I really only prioritize "full service" carriers when I need to leave/arrive out of the city airports going between Seoul and Tokyo. I save a considerable amount of time when it's between GMP-HND, and the LCCs don't really have slots at those airports.
