@2: I live in Switerland and there is no general possibility to earn miles through grocery shopping. Coop occasionally offers to convert superpoints, but that’s no major source of miles. There are also credit cards which earn MM miles, but they are very unattractive otherwise (i.e., high fees).
thanks again. I’m drafting my strategy and I see very different loopholes than the ones used to achieve LH SEN.
E.g., short haul in J with TK are very expensive. True, different product etc. but they seem unattractive for a mileage run.
I am open to route suggestions, especially short & departing from continental EU.
Long haul seems more attractive though: I found OSL-IST-LAX (21/22 JAN) for 1820EUR with return from LAX within 7h of arrival.
Mileage gained on Classic is 22628 resulting in a (so far best) 8.08cents/mile.
Using comparable rates and factoring in that you can’t be 100% efficient, qualification from 0 to E would be lower than 5kEUR and to E+ lower than 10kEUR.
what’s interesting is that access to their Business Lounge in INTL area is for business tickets only - not even E+ can access when flying ECO. A downside, from my perspective.
