Neither Capital One nor Chase actually handle the claims - they both use the same third party claims administrator: eclaimsline. For purchase protection, return protection, and extended warranty they should both be about the same. For trip delay the coverage is also identical, where things diverge is when it comes to the primary rental CDW (VX only covers 15 days in the US), emergency evac (no coverage on VX), travel medical (no coverage on VX), and trip cancellation/interruption (practically worthless on the VX).

While many of the Plaza Premium lounges have re-joined Priority Pass, not all have. For example the MERA lounge in CUN doesn't take Priority Pass. There is also showers at Plaza Premium lounges like the one in the inter-border area at YYZ that charges for shower access if you use the Chase Priority Pass access, but you can shower for free if you scan your VX (or Amex Platinum) for entry.

I have both cards at the moment; they each have their own strengths and weaknesses.
