I have promised some views of the hotel and as today is the day I wake up at stupid o’clock here we are. 4am and the hotel is deserted, the lights are low, and security are suspicious - but eventually decided I was harmless if somewhat eccentric.

This Radisson Blu bills itself as the largest 5 star hotel in Bucharest and I can quite believe it. When you add in the adjoining Radisson Park Inn this hotel is immense.

The view from the hotel entrance. Aristocool is the restaurant/bar that takes up the largest part of the hotels ground floor open space.

Lifts to the right, a matching set are also to the left

Left side of ground floor with stairs up to mezzanine level. The mezzanine was set up for an investment event so I didnt take any photos there but it looks a fairly plain space. I suspect it has hidden depths but I couldn’t see any clear public access

Right side of ground floor

Gentlemans facilities

Champagne and more entrance located on the left hand side near the pool area exit. Not an appealing restaurant to me, caviar and oyster fans will love it.

Indoor Aristocool bar

Trio of restaurants including Ginger where I ate last night, located on the right hand side near the pool exit

I notice that a lot of the sunbeds have gone, clearly the hotel have decided today that Autumn has arrived

Indoor Pool and gym

Pool bar has also been stripped

Aristocool outdoor bar, back to back with, and mirrors the interior bar

Thaico spa entrance

Atrium lighting

Atrium in night lighting mode

The entrance to the Gym is supposedly on the first floor…

The route to the gym

More route to gym

And then…

Finally…

The first floor corridors smell unpleasantly of gym/pool and are to be avoided. Having followed the breadcrumbs to the rather dowdy gym lift my card failed to work. I suspect that Radisson know, quite rightly that I have no place being in a Gym!
