Currently experiencing this with the AVIS PWM location. Small return area with lots of returns at the same time led to the person scanning me in, checking my mileage and fuel, and then instructing me to park anywhere. More than 24 hours later and it still hasn't been closed out.

Will call again this afternoon -- thankfully I have timestamped photos of the dash within the garage and then of the actual car itself within the garage right at the return time and I also checked my bag so have a timestamp from Delta of checking my bag in less than 10 minutes later
