If you fly on AF/KL/VS flight numbers in discount business (Z) on this one-way, you will earn about $1599 MQDs. Link to calculation.

If you fly on DL flight numbers, it will be based on your base fare + carrier imposed surcharges. I have seen JFK-MXP fares in business for about $1800 RT including tax, so this sounds believable.
