I just flew DOH-SFO and have to say the food and service was exceptional. This beat my February Emirates experience. I didn't take a photo of the menu, but chose the Lamb for dinner and the Arabic Breakfast. If I were less tired, I would have definitely tried the Tea Service.

The amuse bouche was a cold beef. The mezze was so fresh and after a week in India, it was a great change of palette. The lamb shank was moist and flavorful. The bone in piece was a bitt dry, I couldn't have finished it all. The polenta and gravy were great. The desert was light, fresh berries with vanilla ice cream and some chocolate.

For breakfast, I loved the beans with s splash of lemon on pita and the bread was really perfect. It's a treat to get an actual Latte as on domestic US flights, it's not an option (AA anyway).
