Personally I don't see the problem with an airline prioritising their own passengers if there more people than space in the lounge. I suspect if you were on CX you would have moaned if you were denied access so that some BA gold on a £50 ET booking to Lyon could go in instead. In fact, imagine if this happened in the US - sorry BA passenger in J/F at BOS/PHL/SFO etc. you can't come in because we are full of oneworld status holders on AA domestic flights. I am sure that would go down well on here

but for what it's worth, I do agree. I'm a huge fan of the CX F lounge but I can understand why they'd prioritise their own passengers when a 12-ish hour flight to HKG is due. Besides, the J lounge isn't exactly a hardship. Much better than the T5 Galleries J/F lounges - and of course the Qantas, BA and AA lounges are all available too. Maybe if it was the only option I'd be a bit miffed, but that's obviously not the case here.
