There’s no no-show penalty for redemption tickets. OP can just no-show and rebook afterwards (for US$50 service fee) as long the ticket is within the validity period (1 year from original issuance date - travel date is irrelevant)
I wouldn’t refund it (as the fees are much heftier-US$120) unless OP was 100% sure they couldn’t travel within 1 year.
That is great to know. I had thought that no show would forfeit the redemption ticket. If there's no penalty for no show, I guess I will go with it. Thank you!
