There are people transiting China and their itineraries may involve a connection. Their first concern is whether they will be able to fly at all without a visa. Answer is ‘yes’.
Then there’s the issue of people who may have a domestic connection or transit stop through China. ‘Can I travel without a visa?’ Answer is ‘Yes’.
Then there’s the issue of ‘I have a long connection, can I leave the airport?’. Answer - ‘that depends…’
