It's also worth checking if you can pay your insurance by credit card or not. Some firms take them - I think there was even a thread on this at some point last year. If Tesco won't take plastic and there is no special offer, you'd get more miles going with someone else who took Amex or a Tesco Visa.
Thanks. My renewal isn't due until 1/03/2005, so I'm not in a rush. I'll keep my eye out for the 500 points bonus.
Tesco do take AMEX which is one of the reasons I'll probably go for them.
I assume the car insurance is via Direct Line, as the online form is almost identical (other than the clubcard bit), and the premium worked out about the same.
