There is a place on the quotation screen for your Clubcard number, but I can't seem to find any reference anywhere else.

They have regular promos of 500 bonus points for taking out Tesco car insurance. If it is not running at the moment then hold off a few weeks if you can in case it comes back.
It's also worth checking if you can pay your insurance by credit card or not. Some firms take them - I think there was even a thread on this at some point last year. If Tesco won't take plastic and there is no special offer, you'd get more miles going with someone else who took Amex or a Tesco Visa.
