A longstanding program, the Civil Reserve Air Fleet, CRAF, allows the US Dept of Defense to utilize a percentage of the civilian air fleet for emergency airlift capability. Most US carriers have committed to be in the CRAF program. Omni Air International ran a 767-300 between TLV and ATH today on charter to the US government.
