Thanks for sharing your experience, I have similar issues with AA flights but ticketed by BA. Miles claim rejected although online points calculator shows that it's an eligible fare class. Still awaiting resolution, so will keep calling and chasing up.

I have other flights coming up with AY and IB which I would like credited in a timely manner before my year elapses. This reminds me to be very vigilant with points posting after the flights.
