Sincere apologies for posting this here by but I could really do with some expert advice. Back in February we booked a TUI holiday to Barbados for our 50th. Wedding Anniversary next February. As my wife hates flying we booked premium seats on their Dreamliner, 6G&J going out and 4G&J coming back. Paid the final balance a few days ago and yesterday got an email saying they’d changed our seats going out to 3F&4F, middle aisle seats behind each other. When I originally booked our seats there were plenty of spare seats in the cabin so it appears they have bumped us. When I complained they claimed there was an ‘operational change’ back in May which meant the cabin seats were cleared and re-allocated. This ‘change’, which I was never made aware of was a 20 minute change to our return flight, on which our seats have not been changed. In your opinion does this even sound credible? Again my apologies for posting this here but my wife is extremely upset and it’ s spoiling what was supposed to be a dream holiday.
