If anyone has input, I'd love some feedback on the odds of a shutdown for using a direct offer. The backstory is that unfortunately, I jumped the gun and applied last week for 110k MR on $10,000 in 3 months offer through a direct link, I believe it was this [amex /us/credit-cards/business/business-credit-cards/american-express-business-gold-card-amex/61492/]. I was too giddy after the refresh with credits before the annual fee hike and impulsivity got the best of me. I read that Amex RAT team has used offers like the above in the past to shut down accounts. What is the likelihood of this happening in this case? Are these direct links targeted at others and aren't supposed to be used if it wasn't sent directly to you? Am I just being paranoid? Thanks.
