I sent a note to BA 2 days ago and already 80K avios sevice recovery has been confirmed via email today.
But the last time my seat failed was a LGW CW seat. Feeling very ancient now, even after the cosmetic refresh (covers, IFE, etc.). Cannot be long before Club Suite retrofit? I'm sure they must get quite a few seat failures on the LGW fleet. I've also already seen one Club Suite aircraft on a LGW route - presumably to cover for a tech incident.
LGW will only get regular CS when LHR cast-off’s are sent its way, the LGW fleet is not scheduled to get CS. Any aircraft operating out of LGW with CS are due to maintenance coverage for the (stretched) LGW fleet, cover for tech issues are a little more rare. The LGW B777 fleet got CW refreshes in 2018-2019 - but they are worked hard and so the odd seat failure is to be expected. CS and new F on the B777 fleet has a pretty awful reliability record if posts on here are to be believed.
