The only thing that makes sense to me why Delta is shafting the international Medallions is there must be a s**t load of high status medallions overseas , primarily due to the Covid rollovers and Delta is using draconian measures to thin the herd.
Except they would not be taking up much real estate (upgrades, Skyclub, etc) since they don't live in the US.
The Amex crowd has caused the Skyclubs to swell and Delta doesn't know what to do, since they're married at the hip to Amex money.
