I've had the Chase Sapphire Reserve card for 4+ years and use all of the benefits. But $150 a year saving is nothing to scoff at particularly if the benefits are the same.

There are plenty of sites like the points guy that compare the cards side by side.

But I'm interested in material differences in practice. I use the card mainly for traveling and consumer protection.

For Traveling. It seems the benefits are very similar but there are operational differences. For example I was at Denver airport and noted that the Priority Plus restaurants did NOT accept Capital One Venture X but did accept chase. Anything else I should be aware of?

For consumer protection. I've have been pleasantly surprised by Chase's consumer protection. They replaced a faulty $5K oven, a stolen $1K ring and the travel insurance was great. Are the Capital One Venture x protections in practice similar and most importantly do you get the run-around (never had this with Chase) when you file claims.
