Well, I mean the obvious question to ask is, you do in fact have a legitimate, medical reason, right? I ask because you haven't actually said that it applies to you and your situation, but rather just that you "noticed" SQ has this policy.

As others have noted, if you had a legitimate, medical issue that aligns with SQ's policy, you will likely get the refund without issue. However, if you are just looking for a backdoor way to reverse a "self-inflicted" wound, you will likely be less successful...
