Looking to do 3 days over a weekend in AMS early Dec. Looking at doing this with points, was looking at Ren, Marriot, and W. This would be our 1st time actually in AMS rather than just flying through. That being said, sounds like the Ren has the best location followed by the W with the Marriot being the worst (if you walking/taking trains)? Any reason to not take the Ren over the W? I'm only a gold Marriot, so I don't have any expectation of an upgrade from status, but I might pay more to upgrade for a suite at the Ren. The W only has cash upgrades and they are pricey.
