Hoping you can provide some advice with this one.

Cancelled the original ticket(s) last month. Agent confirmed what you had said above:
>$50 change fee
>$250 credit to be applied to new ticket
>must pay any difference in fare over $250
>tax paid to be applied to new ticket
>must re-book by Jan 2006

So, I called reservations tonight.
Agent said that in addition to all of above that "Travel must originate from same city as original ticket."
Original ticket was SEA/MCO
Now want to purchase YVR/LAS

Was never told that "Travel must originate from same city as original ticket" and there is no restriction to that effect in the fare rules (I printed a copy at time of booking). Escallated to Supervisor who said she had no authority to authorize.

Do you have any suggestions?

Here's the cancellation blurb from the fare rules (Fare basis: KE211NG) ~

Ticket is non-refundable (waived for death of passenger)
Note-
If ticket is being applied towards the purchase of a new AS or QX ticket
1/ charge USD 50.00 plus any additional increase in fare level
2/ original nonrefundable amount will remain nonrefundable on new ticket and any future reissues. This must be shown in the endorsement box of reissued ticket.
