When I've stayed in ones that cater to business travelers, it's still okay. (I mean, within the scope of "free" hotel breakfasts.)
It also helps if the hotel was purpose-built as an ES and has a breakfast area large enough to accommodate the entire hotel having access to it. When I'm in a building that was converted from something else, the breakfast area is often horribly laid out and not built for anywhere near the size of the crowd of people using it. Usually they'll put tables and chairs all over the lobby but you still can't get to the food.
