This worked for me....existing cardholder with two cards and have been twice rejected for the X (assumed due to 2 existing open lines with them, but we all know how C1 is weird) Anyhow, pre-approved for X with the 75k sub for spending 4k.

Follow up question - does C1 do product changes? My 2 existing lines with them are the regular Venture and my oldest trade line, a card I opened in college (the C1 Platinum Card). What I'd like to do is transfer all my existing Venture points over to the X, close the regular Venture and then product change this old tradeline to the Venture. Long term, will probably drop the X and just keep the one Venture (but want it to be this oldest account).
