Stayed here in August 2023.

Easy to reach from the airport by bus 747, the stop is just at the corner of René-Levesque and Jeanne-Mance. The hotel is few steps up the road.

Having contacted the GM I got a cheerful reply by a representative. My King room had been upgraded to a King 2 room suite in advance. Although being located next to the elevators (not wall-to-wall but opposite) we did not hear people when in the bedroom.
The suite had an extra toilet. The living room was huge but dark due to that one window only. The well sized bed room had one window only, too but was better lit. Bathroom was of a good size.
We looked towards the crossing of Ste. Cathérine and Jeanne Mance street. The metro station Pace des Arts was within sight, too.

Full breakfast buffet was served on the lobby floor. No egg station but otherwise plentiful selection. Waiting staff was senior and very friendly. We stayed seven nights and the breakfast room was rarely overcrowded.

The offerings in the executive lounge were rather poor. White wine and red wine from a pouring automat, inferior quality. The lounge lady was nice.

The annoying thing was the access to the hotel and to the rooms. Access was via two larger elevators from street level to lobby level (level 6, if I remember correctly). Then you had to change to another set of four elevators. Depending of the time this involved long waiting times, e.g. at check-out time. Not only on lobby level but also on the upper floors.

I found the location very good. Central enough to easily get to other parts of the city. The vicinity to the green metro line (Place des Arts) was a plus. The gay village is three stops away. Shopping is within walking distance and the old town within a bit more walking distance. But still doable. The hotel is connected to the Montreal tunnel system by elevator. We explored that as an alternative way to get to the railway station.

All in all, a likable hotel.
