You can only earn 1 voucher in a 12 month period from your card anniversary date. I may be wrong but i don't think upgrading resets your card anniversary date. All that happens is that you end up with paying the annual fee out of sync with the card / voucher earning anniversary date.
If your card anniversary date does not change from August then you can earn one voucher before Aug 2024 and another one before Aug 2025.
If you voucher earning anniversary date resets to 1 May 2024 then you will have until 1 May 2025 to earn a voucher.
