In case you get confused looking for a non-existent Speedlink service, the service is now operated as "National Express Airport" Indeed, although one or two coaches are still marked in Speedlink colours, Speedlink itself disappeared over 6 months ago!

check out http://www.nationalexpress.co.uk

However, whilst the postings here have been on a positive note, the connection timings are "doable" in a perfect world.....However

(a) The M25 Orbital Motorway is notorious for traffic jams - indeed it's often the only free car park in London! One accident with a five mile tailback could wreck your connection!

(b) The weather at the moment is unseasonably good! A trifle cold but clear bright blue skies and plentiful sunshine - excellent for sighteseeing in London actually -but we are supposed to be having fog and cold, damp drizzle at this time of year! If you get murky conditions, the M25 will almost definitely be on go slow!

If, for any reason, you do miss your connection, go to the BA Ticket Desk and explain what's happened. You won't get hotel accommodation, but they might rebook your schedule without penalty if the change fee isn't covered on your Travel Insurance!

I don't wish to sound overly negative, but I do feel you should be aware of the pitfalls! I do hope you have a good time on the French Riviera!
