I recall thinking that during the ash cloud episode it was stretching the reasonability of the duty of care regulations for airlines to pay for accommodation for up to two weeks for thousands of passengers stranded away from home.
Not the passengers' fault. Not the airlines' fault. The ash cloud was no-one's fault, even if there is blame to be attributed in the current situation. But for the airlines to be the sole can-carrier ?
EDIT Boeing..... my post count !
