As noted above, BA should label the bags through to MRS when she checks in at IAD, but she will have to reclaim the bags at LGW and take them with her on the bus.

At LGW, she will save time by going to the special "Fast Bag Drop" check-in desk (BA should be able to tell her the desk number), which has a separate queue from regular check-in.
