My experiences on about twenty transcon & tatl flights this year have all been excellent, with accommodating & helpful crew. As always, there is a range of how proactive they are, and sometimes one needs to ask for what one wants, rather than wait to be offered. But even in the few cases of less proactive crew, they have never been anything but happy to oblige when asked.
