When I called earlier in the month to extend my certificate, the rep read to me a disclosure that extensions of ANY certificate are now limited to ONCE PER LIFETIME per Bonvoy account. Meaning that I would not be able to extend any other certificate ever if I did it this time. They also asked if I accepted these terms and then put me on hold to document to my account that this was disclosed to me prior to agreeing to extend the certificate.

Has anyone else run into this recently and/or know if they actually will enforce this? Have not run into this in the past so this and I've been able to typically get extensions on a YMMV basis based on the rep..
