So we’ve been downgraded from PE to Economy because of an equipment swap. The options are take a partial refund to stay in economy or move to a flight with PE. The utterly insane thing is if we move to another PE flight (would be AF on the same day), we would have to pay the difference because it a ‘voluntary move of flight’. How can this genuinely be the policy when we were downgraded through no fault of our own 3 weeks before we are due to fly? There’s no way that cost would be the same for the other flight because it’s so close so how can we be made to pay the difference?
