Hi folks. I can't find any recent data points...

I have a MasterCard that is issued by Metabank but distributed and serviced by Blackhawk.

Attempting to buy a MO at Walmart MC failed today. First it tried to run as credit without prompting me. I quickly realized that you have to press cancel and then you're given a debit option.

The transaction also failed when I tried to run it as debit with the error "debit not allowed".

I gave up... But I'm wondering if I can still be successful if I run $99 transactions. The total amount of the gift card is around $390 so it could be liquidated in four swipes if $99 transactions will work.

Has anyone recently had success with a Blackhawk MasterCard?
