Appreciate the fast responses, based on this if you had to pick one of the two marriots Mesm vs Prince Gallery, which would it be. So far it seems like the Mesm has the longer travel time to the train, but everything feels similar based on our research. It's surprisingly tough to find anyone who has stayed at both.
Not too many people have had a chance to stay at the Mesm yet because it opened during the pandemic (2020) and Japan didn't reopen to travel until autumn 2022. Prince Gallery's subway/train access is better, but obviously Mesm is the newer property. I've stayed at both the Prince Gallery and the Andaz. I prefer the Andaz (it is one of my regular spots, have stayed there a half dozen times) but the Prince Gallery is fine and I'd stay there again at the right rate.
