TS related, but the last time we were here few years ago, we had a rate including breakfast. It was buffet, no complaints. At the end of the first breakfast they brought me the bill. I said breakfast is included in the room, waiter said the cost (100+ USD) will be deducted but you need to add service fee/gratuity which is not included. This happened every morning. Is this the normal way or was I being fleeced? This is not a huge thing and maybe it’s me being European but I find it odd to have supposedly breakfast included and yet need
to pay in addition 20-30 USD each day for a chap to pour me a cup of coffee.
I have had two recent 4 day stays at the. IC TS: it is still a buffet and you are presented with a bill on the table regardless (I am a Diamond, so complimentary) and a 18% gratuity is already added. There is still room to add extra, but I found my small addition was removed along with full cost - that is, removed after I pointed out breakfast should not be charged, so do check your bill!
