I too have noticed that the frequency of LAX/OAK flights has decreased a lot over the last several years. I fly that route 2-3 times a month and there are a lot fewer options. Same applies to LGB /OAK, where there were a number of flights. However at
LGB, the OAK flights have been replaced with flights to other cities.
