Aeroplan, at least in theory, has dozens of international partners. Which makes it the best in Canada. Which has it competing globally.

You could argue that makes them "one of the best airline loyalty programs in the world", but it's also technically true that whoever suited up, started, and DNFd the last Olympic marathon is a world class marathon runner.
