BA are still flying, they have cancelled the night stop.
On the 4th October, they updated the rebooking procedure for cancelled flights to 7 days 🤡... while having the cheek to put EC261 in full which states later date at pax choosing... with Lufthansa its ticket validity, up to two years, if you complain its 3 years and confirmed by this case Dr. Böse was part of at the BGH.
I was surprised to see Fijol praise LOTdoDomu as some kind of success, allegedly 50k were flown back to Poland. To me the whole thing was like something from the PRL, solving a problem they created (OK not LOT itself, probably). As part of many Coronavirus failures, they closed the airspace forcing people with cheap Ryanair and Wizz tickets to wait around for weeks and pay Basia 400-800 PLN to get back. For the public, LOT=Government so it didn't endear them. There would be case to potentially "rescue" people in some circumstances, but I'd bet the vast majority of people could have got home via scheduled means.

There's very little availability, but EY has seats.
They're $1600 each.
On Friday, its $1600 for both of you. Not expensive, $800 each?
Call LO and give them the flights you want, for example this, and ask them for a rebooking. It would be good to get the call recorded if it ever ends up in Court. Do NOT refund, say to leave it. Later you can figure out what to do.
EY landed today, so the flights seem to be operating.
