They did, with a small amount of bonus miles. I found it before they emailed, so I moved us to a flight later in the day. I wanted the early morning flight, but same day only had center seats (we had side on the first flight), and they wouldn't move us to the early AM flight the previous day without the fare difference. I guess it was over 24 hours before our changed flight. It did cost us a dinner with family.
They used to be better about this sort of thing. Those days are gone I guess.
