I wonder if the 7E7 will be any quieter. After (truely) flat beds, less noise (hissing, droaning, wind noise.. whatever) is top of my wish list for a more bareable flight... the noise cancelling headphones are great unless, like me, you like to sleep on your side and earplugs just hurt my ears. Drugs really are the way to go I feel....
