Destination and Final Destination
Hi,
Out of all options available, we chose specifically a flight with long layover in Houston, on our way to Roatan, Honduras.
Our morning flight was cancelled and rebooked on the evening flight. So we arrived 11 hours later in Houston ( one lost checked baggage, but that is another issue ).
The flight to Roatan, the next day, arrived ± on time.
So we were denied compensation with the argument that the final destination was on time.
My question is: Where in the APPR is this covered. There is no definition of destination and no mention of final in the law. So this seems to be just an interpretation of the Airline that favors them.
Has anyone seen any ruling that adresses this topic?
Thanks
