I always take the free ear buds when the crew offer them... have a stash of a few UA and DL ones in my bag. The speaking loudly/singing out loud you can't do much but ask if they mind stopping. But those who play something without headphones is worse. I just calmly pass them one of the unopened ear buds and ask if they forget theirs at home. Only had them thrown back at me once.
