Is this normal for cashback bookings: There's an offer in AP region for 2000 bonus Bonvoy points a night at some hotels. If you follow the link then you discover the rate is usually a bit higher than the basic Member Rate so I don't book it however one hotel I stay at charges the same rate for the 2000-a-night bonus offer and I have made multiple reservations through my regular "cashback" site which is shopping.ba.com.

Months after the stays when the cashback is due I have received emails informing me that the stay wasn't eligible and I will get no cashback Avios for these reservations. Is it normal for Marriott's bonus offer rates to be ineligible at cashback sites?
