Comment: Checked in early at 12pm on Monday. FHR signage easy to spot to left of main front desk. Was given the list of FHR benefits, but did not immediately read through them.
Upon check in, rep advised that she was upgrading us up to the 43 floor and with a view of Sphere. Room was same as booked, but we totally enjoyed watching this wonder throughout the day. Very happy with room location. Settled into room and read through the FHR letter. I thought there was missing text, but nope. I went back to the front desk to inquire about this. The choices for breakfast were Bouchon Bistro, Bouchon Bakery or room service. BUT Bouchon Bistro was closed Monday-Thursday for breakfast. That was our stay dates. We tried Bouchon Bakery, but it was a small kiosk behind the escalator and has very basic items (jumbo cookies, macarons, baked goods). Every time we tried to over there there were at least 20 people on line to get coffee and cookies. We tried room service twice and it was 90 minutes wait. Pass.. We were only able to use the Bouchon Bakery at twice, late afternoon times. We did receive the credit for the breakfast even though it was near dinner time. We were only able to use it for 2 days in the later afternoon. We wound up eating breakfast at the Grand Lux Cafe two days and had to pay for it outright. Everywhere I had researched and read indicated that the Grand Lux was the main place for breakfast. Very disappointed by the lack of a sit down breakfast. And the fact that we ate there anyway made it even worse.
