Thank you, Kaspars for this prudent advice! I am always bit concerned about 'Mom and Pop bread and breakfast' hotels in Asia and hence we are looking for well-established hotel chains. I may be wrong about smaller hotels/resorts in Siem Reap though. I will search for good reviews for smaller but well-recommended hotels in Siem Reap. Any suggestions regarding this from you other FT folks are greatly appreciated. Thank you!
