Unifi just sucks. Yes, DAL still owns 49% of the company but it's run by Frank Argenbright and if anyone knows anything about airport/airline vendors and cheapness, they know Frank is the godfather of it. They're always short staffed, underfunded and much of their management ranks are filled with really poor people.
The DAL staffing is odd. Take TUS...Delta employees above wing and Unifi for everything else. 9-10 flights throughout the year - 3-4 mainline. Then there's GEG...zero Delta, all Unifi. 16-20 flights across the year - 9-12 mainline. When IROPS hit GEG, it's a you-know-what show as nearly all their $14 an hour agents have no clue how to navigate Deltamatic and rebook...it's common to see 5 counter agents all on the phone with support asking for help with rebookings.
