Last December I got the southwest personal plus and the business premier card in order to get the companion pass for most of 2023 and all of 2024. In November the annual fees will come due - I will get a total of 9k miles for a combined annual fee of $168 - the miles will cover $126 of the fee. My question is - the benefits of the card really just aren't there (the early bird check ins are nice, but we generally travel with our 4 year old so we always can board after group A anyway.

If I cancel - what will it do to my relationship with Chase? I am currently trying to build up a bunch of Hyatt points via the ink card family and do not want to hurt my chances of getting those cards - so I am tempted to just pay the annual fee for at least another year - then at the end of 2024 my wife my apply for the two SW cards in order to obtain the companion pass (assuming the welcome bonus's make that possible)
