I have a "connection" LHR (T2/3) to LGW (S) on a Saturday next month, 7 am to 1 pm.

I plan to use the SL7 bus to East Croydon, then rail from ECR to LGW. Looks like this can be done in less than 2 hours at insignificant cost, according to the TfL website. So hopefully I will have a pleasant sojourn in the First lounge, checking out the champagne(s) of the day.

Anyone see any problems with this (apart from sitting on a bus for 1 hour 20 minutes)?
