I'd like to beleive I was the among the first individuals to get GEP in India (without tapping any influence), I applied for GEP the day it was launched and made live on the US TTP Page, I was the first to go through police verfication in my local passport office in India and when I went for the interview in USA and India most of the officers were dumfounded and looked at me with how are you a GE holder with a B1/B2 visa?

I applied in June 2017, got my approval in Oct 2018. I had given up on the approval, but going through this forum I realized I wasnt the only one and there were a handful of individuals like me the same boat.

I've now applied for a renewal, but I've now gotten two chances of getting the Indian Verificaiton done, either get it in India or get it via my consulate here in Dubai. Can I apply for PCC in India instead of my local consulate ? I'm travelling to India in a couple of dates and it would be easier and slighter faster for me to go through that instead of my local consulate?

Can I do it in India even though my present resedential address isn't in India at the moment? and my consulate in Dubai is enabled for GEP?
Honestly, I don't think it will make a difference whether you get in done in Dubai or India. Pick whichever one is convenient for you. They will both end up taking the same amount of time.
